No. They text your WhatsApp number the same way they would text a friend. There is nothing to download and no app to open.

Nothing at all. Unregistered numbers, and guests messaging outside their stay dates, receive no reply of any kind. That silence is deliberate and central to how StayReply works.

On the Trial and Host plans, guests text a shared StayReply number and the AI routes each message by the guest's dates and property. On Pro and Agency you connect your own WhatsApp number instead.

It tells the guest it will check with you, and notifies you on WhatsApp and Telegram. Your reply is sent to the guest and can become permanent property knowledge with a single tap.
